This version of Duke Nukem was released on GameBoy Color (GBC) in 1999. It's the same game as the original Duke Nukem II from 1993, with updated graphics and weapons.

Get through levels by avoiding traps, collecting items, and crushing the bad guys with your weapons of carnage. It's the only way to save the world from doom!
Weapons
Throughout your side-scrolling journey as this all-American killing machine, you'll encounter weapon pick-ups and power-ups like rapid fire. Duke's weapon of choice is the shotgun, which has infinite ammo, but there are more. Other guns you'll find throughout the levels

Boss Battles
There are four boss battles in Duke Nukem for GBC.
The first boss is a slime, a massive creature that doesn't move. You destroy it by throwing grenades behind its head until it blows up. The second boss is a bunker that fires giant bombs, which you get the pleasure of destroying with a tank. The Zorgonite Commander and Zorgonite Emperor are the two final bosses.
Duke Nukem Story
The story in Duke Nukem is the same as Duke Nukem II, but the main enemies are humanoid creatures known as Zorgonites rather than Rigelatins
The Zorgonites have imprisoned you and are planning to enslave Earth, using you as their war machine. You must escape and save the world from impending destruction with big guns and lots of shooting. It's the only way. It's time for revenge.
Duke Nukem Games
The Duke Nukem franchise dates back to 1991. The first games in the franchise were Duke Nukem and Duke Nukem II. However, Duke Nukem 3D is the shooter that catapulted the series to success with its fast-paced violence and cheeky one-liners. The core series wasn't updated until 2011 with Duke Nukem Forever. However, there have been several spin-off titles and portable editions of the game too.
